flat screen tvs?

hi,ive a friend that wants to put a flat screen tv on the chimney breast over a wood burning stove,wat i want to know is this a good idea or is the heat from the fire goin to effect the tv?should he not put it up there???thankx

tell your friend not to do that. they're not supposed to be placed on an area with high humidity and extreme temperature..

DONT use family members cleaners ever, i exploit "Monster Screenclean" it works great and does a great job of repelling dirt. i bought it at proper purchase , approximately $20.00 , definite slightly costly yet quite nicely worth it for fat displays and computing gadget video demonstrate instruments besides.
