I recently got a Dell laptop with Windows 8 an it's been working fine until it froze, so I turned it off. When I went to turn it back on, the power went on, but nothing appears on the screen.
Press F8 as you switch on and select "last known good config"
could be the hard drive it should still be under warranty if you recently got it.
