How do I put video's on my Mp3 player?

Question

I have a walkman NWZ-A816 in pink and it won't let me put digital copies of movies on it. The computer thing tells me that there is an error and that the file is protected. It is the same with my Mp3 cd that i tried to put on there. It says error and it wont let me go any further. I don't know what to do. The walkman website for the player only tells you how to put videos on it that aren't protected. ?????????
