I have wild cats that we feed and one of them recently had kittens who are friendly enough to hold I have noticed an excess of mucus in some of their eyes is this normal or is there anything I can buy or do to help them?

One, it's not wild. Its a stray, cats aren't "wild" anymore. Some species of cats just naturally have dirty eyes, so if the kitten seems fine its just one of these species. Also wiping away the mucus every once in a while is good for the kitten, keeps its eyes clean

The 1st step is to clean it off then immediantly take your cat to the vet. Mahogany vet is the best for that your cat may have a certain eye disease
