Help On My Sweet 16 !?

Question

Im turning 16 on November 16th and my best friends birthday is 11th. She is having a fancy dinner for hers which is going to be on the 8th. Please give me some ideas on how I could outdo hers and make it remeberable ?

Ok, maybe not outdo. but make it as good as hers. She says she loves herself too much to do a joint party :(

Make it in your favorite theme. I have seen many in the fairytale theme. I have seen beach themes,Winter white themes. Start planning now. Get a notebook, write down everything you can brainstorm. Keep in consideration the budget. You can do a lot for a reasonable amount of money. You just have to make the right connections.Please don't go by the MTV sweet 16 show.Look on the internet for ideas,colors, themes, and so on. Please don't become snobby over it. This tends to happen. Allow your Mom and other family and friends to have input. They are just helping. You may email me with questions. My daughter had a Quiceanera which is basically the same thing but at 15.

Have a fancy dinner by invitation only, put in the Invitation MUST RSVP and NO GIFTS.

when u get the RSVP's you buy each of them a gift and give it to them at the dinner.

outdo??? what is this a competition....lol...a coincedence im gonna have my 16 birthday in november too..haha...but anyway....instead of trying to beat her..j.join her!! for reall.....have like a double party where you are both the birthday girls...and talk to your friend about it and maybe you can organize it in a public..place....such as a pool party...o well..hope i helped and hope all goes awsome!

see what are their interests and they may really like.

if you remember one episode of friends, phobie was responsible for cups and only cups. she was creative and everyone likes her ideas with the "cups"!!!

My friend is having a limo to a shopping park, so we can shop all day and then a sleepover :)
